I still enjoy a good old fashioned bowel of cereal now and then. My goodness there are so many varieties of cereal these days, it is just blows my mind. But then we have a huge variety of just about everything in the grocery stores now a days. Frosted Mini Wheats are my all time favorite. They have a good amount of sugar on them (good thing, or else I wouldn’t be eating them) but everything else is good healthy ingredients.

I know that a lot of the local Food Lions switched over and are now called Blooms. I really thought that my Food Lion was safe from any changes. But today I found out that they are now planning on closing their doors permanently come the end of August. That really bites. I do most of my grocery shopping there and the pharmacist is awesome.

I am so glad that there is now a wide variety of yogarts on the grocery shelves. I really enjoy many of the flavors that I have found. Strawberry/Banana is one of my favorites. They have a new Greek yogart that is totally different from any that I have tried before. If you see it at your super market, give it a try.

I was in the mood for a sandwich earlier but I couldn’t find anything that tickled my fancy. Then it dawned on me that as a kid I used to really love peanut butter and honey sandwiches and I had both foods in my cabinet. It was a darn good sandwich, one that made my tummy happy and brought back some good memories.

Went with my list to the grocery store today and filled the basket up with enough supplies to hopefully last a week or so. The most important thing on the list, besides milk, was toilet paper. When I got home and unloaded all the stuff, I noticed that I was missing the toilet paper. I knew darn well that I picked a brand out and put it in the basket. So I checked my receipt to see if I had paid for it and if it just didn’t make it’s way back into the basket after the cashier was done scanning it. Unfortunately there was no toilet paper on the receipt, so it is a mystery on where it ended up. At least I wasn’t charged for it, but now I have to use some dinner napkins until I can make it to the grocery store again tomorrow night, bummer.
